HaWi Energietechnik AG presents a world innovation at the Intersolar 2009:
the SolarMagicTM Power Optimizer by National Semiconductor.

In today’s systems, the power of the complete plant is determined by the weakest link of the chain, as even one or two damaged panels can reduce the array output disproportionately.

However, the SolarMagic Power Optimizer guarantees that each panel generates a maximum amount of energy. In case that a panel is shadowed, soiled or damaged in any other manner, it is still able to produce energy with the other panels tapping their full energy potential.

Completely independent of the panel manufacturer, it is very easy to install SolarMagic into new plants and it can also be integrated into existing plants without any problem.
